CJ moved to Bend and joined the High Desert Veterinary team in 2011.  She has a special interest in wildlife and holds a state and federal license to do wildlife rehabilitation.  Her patients are mammals and birds, and they have ranged from hummingbirds to an elk calf, and everything in between.  As a young girl she always wanted to have a wild horse and she now has five, which roam free on range land in Eastern Oregon.
