Modern veterinary medicine is quickly approaching the level of human medicine….where it’s possible to run a dizzying array of tests, pull out “all the stops” with advanced treatments, and also spend a shocking amount of money.
We stay abreast of the latest veterinary medical advancements…but we do not blindly embrace every new test or treatment that’s developed. The medical advancements we incorporate into our practice typically meet one or more of these criteria:
It’s safer than a previous method
It’s less invasive (and therefore carries less risk)
It offers a faster or more accurate solution to an animal’s health problems.
We believe modern medicine can be more effective—and more affordable!—when practical experience and common sense rule the day. In our practice, we have both—and we are also guided by our integrity and compassion.
In this way, we uphold the finest tradition of the “country vets” that came before us.
Our Business Philosophy
We don’t view veterinary medicine as a commodity that should be merchandised. You won’t see us offer coupons, sales or other marketing gimmicks designed to get you in the door.
Unlike the many corporate-owned, revenue-focused veterinary clinics, we don’t view your pet’s treatment as an opportunity to “upsell” you with unnecessary or costly tests or procedures.
We are simply here to provide the best care in the most cost-effective manner.
