Vaccines help keep your pets safe from infectious viruses and other harmful diseases. It is important to keep your vaccinations current. Routine boosters will keep your pet protected throughout their life.
Recommended Vaccines for Dogs and Puppies
Puppies
Vaccinations begin when your puppy is nine weeks old, starting with the distemper/parvo vaccine series. At 15 weeks old, your puppy should get a rabies vaccine. Once these initial vaccine series are complete, your puppy should get a yearly booster of the distemper/parvo combination. And be sure to stay current on three-year rabies vaccinations This vaccine schedule will provide continued protection throughout your dog’s life.

DA2PP (Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2, Para influenza, Parvovirus) - We recommend vaccinating at 9, 12, and 15 weeks of age, then annually.
Rabies – We recommend vaccinating at 15 weeks of age, vaccinating 1 year later, then every 3 years after that.
Corona virus – Depending on exposure.
Influenza - Depending on exposure. Some boarding kennels in our area require this vaccine.
Leptospirosis – Depending on exposure.
Bordetella – We recommend when boarding or high dog-traffic exposure.
Lyme disease – Not recommended unless traveling to an area where lyme disease is present.
Rattlesnake – Not recommended.
Giardia – Not recommended.
